Ancient mystical text infers
the building blocks of
all sense and matter,
element and number,
meaning and sound,
become manifest
in space and time by
a divine being engraving
letters into itself
like a performance artist
carving channels
cascading with life force
that does not cease
or perhaps dance/painting
on an endless drum skin
with ink-drenched sleeves
that never dry
